This screen is the correct mesh size for USFS spark arrestors. This is a universal screen designed to be compliant with Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) procedure J355 for MSE's: spark arrestors are required to have all exhaust gasses pass through a screen with no opening larger than 0.023-inch. The screen must be heat and corrosion resistant, and shall provide at least 100 hours of service life.
