The Progressive Suspension 465 Series Monotube Shock is designed for high-performance and durability. It features a high-pressure gas monotube design with a 46mm bore and deflective disc piston for precise damping. The shock body is threaded, allowing for a wide range of preload and sag adjustments. A five-position rebound adjustment enables riders to fine-tune the suspension for different conditions and riding styles. Constructed with a hard anodized aluminum body and components, this shock offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance. A 16mm hard chrome shaft with custom Viton® seals ensures low friction and leak-free reliability. Some models are available with a Remote Adjustable Preload (RAP) system, allowing for quick hydraulic adjustments to accommodate varying loads such as passengers or luggage. Additionally, certain applications offer Standard or Heavy Duty options, with the latter recommended for bikes frequently operating near the manufacturer’s maximum load rating. Before installation, verify that changing the shock length will not interfere with wheel travel, exhaust clearance, or chain/belt guard contact.
