The Progressive Suspension 465 Series Shock is a high-performance, high-pressure gas monotube shock designed for superior ride quality and durability. It features a five-position rebound adjustment to customize suspension response based on riding conditions and style. The shock body is threaded, allowing a wide range of preload and sag adjustments for precise tuning. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum, it offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance. A 46mm bore with a deflective disc piston ensures precise damping, while the 16mm hard chrome shaft operates with custom Viton seals for low friction and reliable performance. Each 465 Series shock is custom-tuned for specific fitments, ensuring optimal damping and spring rates. Riders should verify that altering shock length does not create clearance issues with components like the swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain, belt guard, or tire. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for motorcycles frequently carrying loads near the manufacturer’s maximum rating.
