PJ1 Octane Plus with Lead Substitute is a fuel additive designed to boost octane levels, stabilize fuel, and improve engine performance. It helps prevent detonation, pre-ignition, and gas line freeze-up while also serving as a lead substitute for engines that originally required leaded fuel. The formula contains lubricating properties similar to lead, helping to protect valve seals and allowing older engines to safely run on unleaded gasoline. Additionally, it cleans carburetors and fuel systems, enhances horsepower, and reduces engine knock and ping. Safe for plastic gas tanks and fiber reed valves, this additive is compatible with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines but should not be used with methanol-blended fuels. Available in a 1/2-liter (16 oz) container.
