Description

The Progressive Suspension 465 Series Shock is a high-performance, high-pressure gas monotube shock designed for improved suspension performance. It features a five-position rebound adjustment to adapt to different riding conditions and styles. The shock body is threaded, allowing for a wide range of preload and sag adjustments. Constructed with a hard-anodized aluminum body and components, it offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The 46mm bore and deflective disc piston provide precise damping, while the 16mm hard chrome shaft, combined with custom Viton seals, ensures low friction and leak-free reliability. Each shock is specifically tuned for its intended fitment, including damping and spring rate adjustments. Before purchasing or installing shocks with a different length than the OEM version, ensure that the change will not cause clearance issues with components such as the exhaust, swingarm, belt guard, or tire. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for motorcycles carrying loads near the manufacturer’s maximum rating more than 50% of the time.
